Parliament of Owls
After a good afternoon at the Garden Party and on to Daughter Number 2 we left about 9ish for Clevedon for breakfast at Five the Beach which as usual was good. onto the pier to let the little ones to see their plague which has now been corrected. They enjoyed seeing this and after giving them some money to spend in the shop we headed home. As we never got to bed until after 2.00 am we had a very lazy afternoon - we watched the qualifying and The Decline of the Kennedys and KG is now watching the highlights of the British Lions and all Blacks.
Thanks to Admirer for hosting Silly Saturday and my contribution is a Parliament of Owls.
The speaker stood tall and monitored the proceedings.
A fly on the wall reported afterwards that the opposition challenged the validity of the government with so few seats. The PM picked up her book and said that she still had a strong and stable government. The leader of the opposition jeered and said that was not acceptable and she should step aside and let a real party lead the nation. At that point feathers flew and the fly flew away.
Another day - much cooler and pleasanter.
