Meconopsis
Pale lilac blue.
Did some clearing out in the morning, some quilting and church gardening in the afternoon and some running in the evening.
The evening race was the Blackrock 5, a race from Kinghorn, across the sands, round the Blackrock and back, not actually 5 miles, only about 4.3. However, it can only be run when the tide is far enough out as most of the sand bit is under the Forth otherwise. This means the conditions underfoot vary each time, there is a varying amount of water to splash through but always a head wind! (quite strong last night). Not only did Mr Rat and I run, but also daughter and son, and the grandsons ran a junior race.
I might have had a pic from there - but I forgot the camera.
I also had an email saying my big race next week had had the start moved so there was some flat before the hill - but it adds nearly a mile on the distance. I think 8 days to go is a bit short notice to tell you that!
I was a bit worried about doing it, this hasn't helped.
