Hampden

I had a great evening at Hampden, listening to a concert by Primal Scream and the wonderful Stone Roses. Primal Scream warmed up the atmosphere very well, before the Roses took over. With the three excellent musicians and the wonderful video show one could forgive Ian Brown for being the awful singer he always has been. The general party atmosphere added to the experience, despite the 50 year old guys dancing in a way which wouldn't have looked cool when the Roses came to prominence in 1989. Interestingly, 80% of the audience wouldn't have been around then, so there were some cool young people around.
