35 today

This time last year my dear friends took me from my house and drove me to Pizza Express to celebrate my birthday, despite at the time feeling very uncelebratory. I was feeling so ill with CFS, had officially quit my job a month before and had already gained a stone & a half. However my beautiful friends were not not going to celebrate me (to quote them) and it was a lovely time despite the energy levels.

12 months later, I'm so incredibly grateful for the progress I've made since then. It's been a tough year to say the least, but being able to share a party with my mates hosted by the incredible Gee, I'm just in awe of God's goodness. Gee also made a speech at which point a lost it a bit!
