Jezza!

I've never been one of Corbyn's greatest admirers but I've got to say that his stage appearance and speech at Glastonbury at 4pm was a bit of a stormer. He didn't let up, and was quite righteously relentless - of course you could quibble as a friend of mine did on twitter that he was short of solutions, but that was to miss the point - he stated the values we surely hold in common, and the problems we face - particularly those the young face.
Could you imagine May standing there and doing that? This woman who a few weeks ago said that if she lost six seats she'd have lost and that Corbyn would take control? The woman who, on standing at No10 after succeeding Cameron said she would fight against the burning injustice which meant that if you’re born poor, you will die on average 9 years earlier than others. Did I miss something in the Queens speech addressing that? Of course there wasn't going to be an election anyway, was there. And let's not forget she was a remainer in the EU - the clear national interest, she stated in April 2016. Wipe that from the national consciousness! And now we have the insufferable Johnson and Gove at the centre of power who paraded about in their bus - £350million a week to the NHS by leaving the EU. And we all shrug - surely that wasn't to be taken seriously was it?
Well, good old bloody Jeremy. If you treat politics as cynically as these fuckers, I'll cheer Corbyn to the effin heavens. Go Jezza!

PS I've posted this not to elicit responses, but for myself here and now. Sometimes our memories are too short.
