Lazy Sunday...

spent catching  up on the housework, baking gingernuts for a treat at school on Tuesday when we celebrate Matariki (Moari New Year).  We have a display in the library and one of our head students has made up a set of questions about the display and matariki.  Each correct answer will get a biscuit.  Two loads of washing done, dried and folded and put away then it was time to take Paddy for a walk.  We thought we would go up the coast and see what damage had been done and walk along a beach.  Lots of slips, dirt on the road but it is still a beautiful drive.  

The photo is looking back to Te Puru.  the sun is on it's way down but there was too much cloud to get the pretty colours but I like the way the sun is shining on the buildings.
