Block Party!

File out your application for a permit, pay $5, get the signature of everyone that lives on the block, send in your application, get approved, obtain "official" barricades, get tables and chairs, put out the word for potluck food, write in big letters, "Street Closed," and experience the rare feeling of having a street where no cars roam. The last time I remember this was the big snowstorm. My neighbors loved it, we had fun, Hoorah!
