A pea souper in Christchurch

Woke up to thick fog..had to look twice as my windows are not very clean....yes it was a pea souper!! Much thicker around the hills as I went to work. It cleared through the morning. Just as I left work the blackest sou'west change hit. Shop signs blowing everywhere, rain started, and its still very heavy rain. Many seasons in one day.....
