Dinner time

I've wondered what the Robin was after, as it visited the side of the little pond, and this afternoon after sitting still patiently for a while, I eventually managed to find out what was going on.

It seems that the Robin is predating the ants, which are clearly starting to fly.    I was rather pleased with the detail of this shot, although it has to be said that Robins are well adapted to being around humans and no where near as difficult to photograph as some other bird species :-)
