Shade

Work is slightly pants at the moment. We are looking at selling off our IT function to be run by a commercial operation as a "Managed Service". We had an update on this process on Monday morning from the head of IT. Nothing really exciting to report. Then, on Monday afternoon, he sent round some more details which included the fact that we were likely to be included in the move. Previously, we had thought that we would either keep our jobs or get paid redundancy. Now it seems that we will be expected to work for the second party. I'm not happy about this. I moved from the commercial world to the OU partly because its ethos fitted what I believed in.

Still, went for a hot run today. Tried to pick routes that were in the shade...
