Eid Day 1

This is what Eid looks like here:
(it hit 40C today)

First visitor arrived from a camp at 8.20.

Lots of men and children stop by for chocolates.

J, J & K go round the neighbourhood wishing Happy Eid and collecting chocolates and money (photo of K with her booty).

Children come and visit us.

We then go as a family on visits till bedtime.

Very thorough teeth brushing after being fed a lot of sugar.

I seemed to listen to lots of burdened people today. Lots of our friends have so many hard things going on in their lives.
