Walk-in

We had an Open Garden this afternoon.  Normally we're only open via the NGS by pre-booking of small numbers because there's not enough parking around here to support a conventional 'open garden'.  

Together with a neighbouring NGS garden we though we'd try something different and had an open garden for those within walking distance - as defined by the range we were prepared to walk to post flyers through the door.  It was a moderate success, tempered somewhat by the mizzly weather, but NGS charities are a fair few quid better off and we're doing it again tomorrow evening when, hopefully, the weather should be better.
