Well, hello there!
It's been a better day, weatherwise, so we've been able to get out and about. This morning, we pottered about a little bit, and then walked over the bealach between Stac Pollaidh and Cul Beag, in a sort of 'there and back to see how far it is walk', that had a tremendous sense of isolation, bar a family which was just about to climb Cul Beag. After a brief rest back here, we headed up to Clachtoll and visited the broch. Clachtoll beach campsite was the scene of our last night under canvas back in July 2011. At the time, we certainly didn't intend it to be our last night ever, but I suspect it probably will have been. What I remember most about that last night was that our slumbers were accompanied by the sounds of the Polish Olympic snoring team, who had pitched their tents rather closer to ours than was probably ideal. On the walk to the broch and back, we enjoyed more sunshine than so far in the two days we've been away. This sheep posed helpfully at the top of the hill.
