the eyes have it

Here we are at another drumming gig - this time at Sandside, in Dumfries, where there are plans for a community garden on a derelict piece of land - the project developed from The Big Lunch in 2015 and its aims are : 

"increased aspirations / hope / teambuilding / motivation  / sense of pride / sense of belonging / increased self esteem, self confidence / decrease in feelings of isolation / reconnecting communities / community cohesion / reconnecting with self / improved skills /  increased employability."

Most of those could apply to the Samba Sisters, I believe...except maybe the last..

In Mim's eyes you can see us relaxing after we'd played - and me playing around with the camera as usual :-)
