Training

I was in Aberdeen today to join panel members and the Area Support Team there to hear from care experienced young people about their views of the children's hearings system.

Lots of good discussion - and a view that the issues raised are slowly being addressed.

We then had a recognition event marking achievement and long service. An enjoyable event, topped off with a BBQ.

The meeting was held in the Sir Ian Wood centre. A modern ibuilding nestling on the banks of the River Dee. It is part of the Robert Gordon University complex and the facilities - and the setting - are impressive. Outside of the lecture room was a patio with seating so we were able to eat out in the fresh breeze. Lovely when the sun was out but cooler when not.

I happened to look up at one point and saw this worker edging his way down the roof.
