Fresh Snow

The clouds over the mountains cleared at last and the peaks put on a great show. Last time I saw them about five days ago they had only small fields and threads of snow. I was thrilled to get this shot from the back step. My son took the top off the small hedge so that I can see over the top again.

A white frost was followed by a sparkling day, but the temperature stayed pretty low.
