Morning Glory

When I opened my eyes for the first time at 5.30 this morning they stayed open. I quickly(ish) threw on some clothes, hiking boots, coat & bundled the dog in the car.I had to make an emergency stop as the 'stone' in my boot started wriggling frantically & turned out to be a freaking huge beetle!
Anyway, I arrived at the east side of the island but the clouds had formed & the photos I had imagined I could take didn't happen.
So I drove home slowly and was rewarded with this lovely sight - if only I had stayed put at the beach for a while longer. Still, there is always tomorrow.....
