SPECIAL DAY....

... well time flies - had a message from Blip central the other day to remind me today would be the 1460th Blip!! Where did that time go!

When I started getting serious again with photography, was looking for a site to maybe get some "feedback" on shots taken?
Found Blip and on the 28th March 2013 put my first pic up. Did not know too much about what right and wrong and soon had a message saying pic taken down due "watermark".... oh!!??

Well as you all know it started there, learnt fast and after missing a few days on and off feeling a bit "out in the cold", soon realised all of the wonderful Blippers around the world where there to be supportive.

Wondered what to do today, and on reflection have had a lot of highlights, but one recently was when the Nepean Private Hospital asked for some pics from around the Nepean area as they were redecorating. Well some are now up and have made a collage for today of the ones they chose.

Purely for records sake and not to take your time, have listed a bit of the fun along the way, all thanks to Blip and you wonderful people out there who drop by and say hi. Not to mention of course the super Blip meets we have had both locally and of course that renowned Wanaka New Zealand gathering organised by Snowy, and Walking Wombat.

The most viewed : (my fav of course) that Azure Kingfisher along the mighty Nepean River.

The most "hearts" : that mighty Nepean River with a bit of tinkering

A Highlight : the Lightening shot over the nepean River weir, a special favourite of mine and one chosen by the Hospital.
This also special as Blip put this up on the Facebook page at that point.

Another Highlight: the 2013 shortest day pic again on the mighty Nepean River I entered in the Daily Telegraph Go West Competition and it was selected a winner in week one.

Along the way, "back when" I fell short with a pic so started the Back When Series which has allowed using some of the old family history.

All in all, some VERY special moments, but the main ones are truly getting to know you all whether in person or "virtual" feels like one BIG family.... thank you.

So... as the daily entry says......

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE - appreciate all your support.
