Something old,something new

Last week I read something about a blip but missed it. I don't think it was a proper challenge which I rarely enter as my attempts are never perfect.
I had always wanted some shears so years ago when my son was living in Long Marston I told a Farmer friend of his.
He kindly gave me these ones which really need sharpening.
There's a lack of sheep in my garden so I use them as secateurs.
My neighbor has just brought me these newly laid eggs from her chickens ;) ;)
