The accidental finding

Little Earthquake pots

CleanSteve has blipped Caspar,  my other neighbour at Nailsworth Farmers' Market. I've focussed on Charlie, who is always next to me, selling her fabulous pottery. Today I bought a little something to stash away for a pressie.

It was a busy, busy day. Steve took me to the market, and I had a rather disorganised day of card selling (sales down by 25%, for some reason) and
then I was whizzed back to Stroud by Steve, who'd even made me a packed lunch! I then met up with G, from my WEA class, and S, who was giving us a lift to a Historical day in Tewkesbury. Unfortunately S turned out to be quite a scary driver, but we arrived intact, just as the walking groups were setting off.

Our party was booked on the Literary Tewkesbury walk, which took in a great many sites, including, sadly,  the Roses Theatre, where Eric Morecambe performed his last gig  in 1984. A splendiferous tea was laid on for all 68 of us from the Gloucestershire Local History Association, back at the church hall, including the best gf chocolate cake I've ever tasted ( a packet mix from Aldi, apparently).

Back home, I decided to go to a party, because it was literally at the end of my street. I thought it was to be a midsummer party, but I now believe it was an engagement celebration! Must drop off a card.

At around half past eight, the tiredness hit (I had been standing for most of the previous twelve hours) so I slithered home and threw myself on to the bed. Even had to pop a paracetamol, because my legs would not stop aching. Support stockings beckon....

I'll tell you more about Literary Tewkesbury when I've read the book, by David Elder, who was our most entertaining guide today.
