Sleeping Beauty

Coffee with my Monday friends (so good to be able to sit outside at the hotel where we meet) and then a little stroll by the river..... I enjoyed watching the gulls swooping about as someone threw bread for them but it was this swan, standing on one leg on the edge of the weir, that really caught my attention! He wasn't really sleeping - he was tossing his head - but I liked that this shot made him look as if he was!

Then home for a late lunch and lots of time spent on the computer in search of a suitable birthday gift for my grandson - sorted now!
