Blippers do it behind hedges
A little trip up the A41 today took us to Chester for a Blipmeet in honour of the visit of CALIFORNIAGIRL1. There were 8 of us all together and I particularly enjoyed meeting 4 Blippers I hadn't met before. In attendance were Majoayee, kwchas and Freyjad, along with husbands, Sonny, Ro and Super Handyman Husband.
The day started well at the Cathedral cafe with coffee and chat. We were so lucky to have local knowledge in the form of geocacher kwchas who operated as out personal guide all day. Thank you, Chas. We all thoroughly enjoyed the cathedral but found the light particularly tricky today. My blip was taken in the Cloister Garden where I thought all our Blippers looked particularly attractive behind the hedge. Maybe we should have a Blipcalendar like Calendar Girls (No, I'm not volunteering!). Then we went for a stroll along the walls, seeing some falconry type stuff en route and doing lots of talking of course. Lunch was needed by this time and Chas found us a great place and it was warm enough to sit outside. This was followed by a walk to the famous clock on the walls, more gossip, lots of photography and then the pub to finish our Blipmeet!
A really lovely day spent with lovely people. Thank you all for coming, and thank you CALIFORNIAGIRL1 for coming all the say from Los Angeles to give us an excuse to meet.
