MonoMonday - 15 minutes of fame

Back in the early 2000's I was asked to do some media work on behalf of my professional body. I'm a Podiatrist and we are regularly asked by newspapers, magazines, radio and television journalists for opinions on foot health and footwear. I agreed to be one of our "experts" and my name (and occasionally my photo) appeared several times over the next few years. I was quoted in Vogue, received a financial "makeover" in the Independent, appeared on Radio 4 and Channel 5. I even got 3 pages in the Sun!!!!
Since  moving away from London, I've been superseded by colleagues far more eloquent and photogenic who do a fantastic job for the ever busy media machine.
