Courgette flower

This is a rogue courgette that got planted inside with the cucumbers (the seedlings looked the same), it's actually behind the outdoor ones that have already flowered but it's grown much bigger. It looks more like a chrysalis just now and structurally is quite beautiful.

Managed to get an emergency dentist appointment for the chronic toothache that's been dogging me the past couple of weeks - now on antibiotics and strong ibuprofen- fingers crossed it eases soon. No booze for a week though.

Did spend a nice quiet night home alone reading the Get Plants book that I was sent.by Kew to review - now I've got an even longer shopping list.
