Late Evening Sunshine

It's been a great day.  The morning saw sunny spells, with a couple of showers, then clouded over for a bit, but this evening has been sunny right til after 10.30pm.  

It's been a day on the museum desk, and a busy day we've had!  There was two cruise liners in Lerwick today.  A mad dash to get to work in the pub after tea.  It was quiet bit it also got busy later on.  I finished early, and met up with mam and friend Julie for a walk about Scalloway with Sammy and Julie's dog.  Feet up now. 

It's been a beautiful sunny evening, and plenty of folk out enjoying the calm night.  Although it's been sunny, the dark nights are drawing in, 10.40pm was sunset tonight :)  As the sun starting going down over the hill, the castle was still managing to catch the sunlight, with New Steet fallen into the shadows.  Taken from Gallow Hill, Scalloway.
