Eilean Donan Castle

Today's forecast was for rain clearing.
We decided to drive up the Great Glen then headed North West to Dornie and  went to see Eilean Donan Castle.Absolutely mobbed with tourists from all over.
Quite wet on the journey to the castle but bright and breezy for our visit.
Lunch in the restaurant there with a view over the castle.
 We then drove along towards Kyle of Lochalsh to enjoy the Lochalsh forest walk in the shoreside grounds of Balmacara House. The walk goes along the shore driveway past the lodge and the house before returning through the woodland.My extra shows a little of the views we were treated to on our walk :-)
It was then back to Fort William for Fish and Chips :-)
