Dinner time

Decidedly chilly early this evening as we walked round the Common with Louie. This beautiful thrush was looking very pleased with himself after finishing off his dinner - an unfortunate snail whose shell he had smashed. Judging by the number of shells on the ground, it's not the first time he's eaten here!

Some good news today! The insurers of the lady who drove across the middle of the road at speed and crashed in to my car have received the police report. Almost 6 months after the event they have, at last, admitted liability...
