Went to a friend's 70th birthday party today.
There seem to have been a rash of them lately.
'47 was a very good vintage:))

This fellow was enjoying a speech.
Good to hear a good speech  Young people don't really seem to understand what goes into one, or why they should bother.

The birthday boy's house looks over the ocean and down to Manly from Killcare. 
Quite a breathtaking view, which I've added to extras.
It was taken when it was nearly dark and I realised I should put down the bubbly and get out the camera.  It shows only about a third of the panorama.
