Last year there was a guy here I liked - Jack, an old American. Every day when he emerged he would look at the sky and say, "another day in paradise."
Ain't that just so.
In other news, the Eroski has been given a Morrisons-like makeover and an Asian Fusion restaurant has opened down town. "A welcome addition to Cala D'Or's burgeoning new restaurant scene" I would pompously write if I had a column in the local English language free newspaper. Sadly that doesn't exist. Actually, I'd rather be the editor, then I could write the editorials. I'd fulminate regularly against the latest fads, antisocial behaviour, loud music after hours, thoughtless parking.. Lordy, there would be no shortage of targets of my vituperation.
Right, must go and get some sunshine. And a wee lie down.
