Hurrah!!! for Team New Zealand, winning the America's Cup in Bermuda this morning. So exciting. I was up really early watching, like thousands of other Kiwis. Such a proud moment, for those involved, the achievement and how it's come about. 
The Yeager quote above flashed onto the screen towards the end of the showing. I thought it was very apt in the circumstances. Well done to the whole team; amazing stuff.
I have to hand it to Jimmy Spithill too, the Oracle helmsman. He was so gracious in defeat. Not the Jimmy we've been used to. Wonderful to see another deeper side.

I'd determined on capturing a leucadendron today, and editing it in mono. So here it is! Also, in Extras, there another Shag Rock capture, with a most unusual cloud formation behind it.

I've heard this evening that I've been discharged for Jury Service for the entire week. Yeehaa - let off the hook. I don't think I'll ever be called up again. Yeehaa to that too.
