At last!

A flower.
Not a very good condition one but an important one.
For six years we have waited for the Hibiscus in our back garden to flower. Every year it has produced buds but nothing else until, finally, one bud has turned into a flower.
Not a very pretty one and a bit tatty at the edges but it's a start.
There are other buds but we're not holding our breath.
Maybe next year it will try a bit harder and give us two, perhaps even at the same time.
