Reflecting on things past

I'm sitting in the Senate chamber of Queen's University Belfast at a Senate meeting where we are looking at our vision. I am looking at this wonderful painting on the wall... Of women from every walk of life striding forward.. Taking their rightful places in all parts of society. I am asking myself, how did we ever, as a society, justify the old ways, the blatant prejudice, Inequality which women faced in work and life? The lesson, challenge stereotypes, stifle prejudice, create new ways of developing people's true potential. Ask yourself.. What if? We need dreamers who move beyond boundaries to challenge our comfort.
