AIR & STAIR
Due to the terrible disaster in London I'v been getting a lot of emails from the works Health & Safety team, thankfully we have no buildings with cladding, at least not in the retirement devision, but we do have a stay put policy and controls in place that has given the company a five star rating from the powers that be. I'm rather surprised that Fire assessments aren't carried out on a regular basis in any large buildings be they Apartments, Hospitals or Schools etc. I have an independent company who come every two years to ensure the safety of my residents, it was carried out earlier this year with some minor works needing doing but in general we live in a safe environment, how much would it cost councils to employe safety officers on a permanent basis to keep their tenants safe I wonder, money well spent if you want my opinion.
