Grimebusters

Eventually got around to cleaning the grime that had built up on the bike over the weekend. Didn't really have much rain but on the way across the Scottish Borders area I hit a couple of short showers and then on the way home on Sunday there were half a dozen very short, but very heavy, showers along the M42 starting 30 miles before Birmingham and then for a few miles past Birmingham. Wasn't much but enough to kick up spray from salted roads.
It's been a very busy couple of days Monday/Tuesday with a lot of gardening. Cutting back bushes and trees, especially the bay laurel which just goes berserk! Planting bedding to get some instant colour but the good thing is most of them are perennials so they'll come back year after year. I thought we'd finished early afternoon but then we went to Lidl and they are doing some bedding and Marlane just couldn't help herself! 
Couldn't be bothered to cook tonight so Marlane had a Thai Green King Prawn Curry and I had Chicken Foo Yung, now I'm nodding off as I type
