Breeda

Lots of rain this morning so much so that Breeda rang to find out if I wanted to cancel our lunch in Ilkley. No way I haven't seen her since our cruise before Christmas!!! With my eye op and other things today was our first catch up. We walked to our usual restaurant only to find the blinds down, we read with great disappointment that it was closed for their annual holiday. We found another one and enjoyed our Irish potato cakes with bacon and cheese followed by a shared cake. What a lovely lunch and catchup. Poor Breeda has hurt her ankle and was limping so I had a wander round the shops on my own. I stopped off at Boundary Mill as it is their sale, I wanted some more dinner plates as I bought 2 last year in the sale.
