Tuesday: Zucchino

At 2am it was chucking it down with rain ...
I got up at 6am just after MrD had left for work. Nice chat with my daughter as she walked to work.
Yesterday's zucchini plants have survived the night, slugs haven't found them yet! Found 2 more baby plants and have potted them on and they are languishing in the greenhouse and may survive to maturity and get moved outdoors.
Also had a nice surprise when I was emptying soil from pots used to grow runner beans last year, 6 plants have survived the winter so I've replanted them and hope for some beans later in the Summer.
