The Rubbish Party

It's not every week we have a party political leader address Rotary but that's how it was tonight.

Sally Cogley from Galston in east Ayrshire was so concerned about the culture of litter in the Irvine Valley and the lack of commitment of those empowered to do something about it that she formed her own political party and in May she was elected as a councillor for The Rubbish Party on East Ayrshire Council.

Now she is on the case and is achieving success with new anti-litter initiatives in conjunction with local secondary schools.

Sally is keen to expand her Party and willing to assist others in other local authority areas to take up the challenge.
