This is the view from the first floor bathroom in the townhouse I've lived in for seven months now. 

In searching for a new home I had been quite keen on finding a place with direct sunlight streaming through the windows. However, this place fit the bill in all other ways. Surprisingly it turns out that I really like the indirect quality of the natural light, as it has created a more relaxing home environment.
