Double Bow

Again I screeched to a halt. This time in a hedge by the turn to Paxton.

As I was driving home just now, a double rainbow formed without warning and not long after I managed to capture it, it disappeared again just as suddenly.

You can just make out the reversal of colour order in the outer bow, characteristic of this phenomenon.

And the area between the bows is Alexander's Band. (Not Berlin's Ragtime variety!) You always wanted to know that, didn't you?

Now it's absolutely chucking it down and His Nibs, just returned from his sleepover last night, is wanting to go out.
