Raven in Buttercups

That's a caption, not a recipe.I went for a walk down the Burn of Woodwick, around the Ness of Woodwick, past the Loch of Vastray, around the point of Smersso, then Shuber and Trolle Geo along The Mello to Aiker Ness, past the Broch of Gurness and up to the village. The usual birds- bonxies chasing gannets, arctic terns, a shoveler on the loch etc. Two hares on the shore. Lots of common spotted orchid, yellow bedstraw, butterwort now in bloom.
