Sir Duncan Rice Library, Aberdeen
Yet another conference...
I'm now in Aberdeen for a conference at which I am co-author of nine papers for delivery over the next four days. This afternoon Leo, John and Lyndsey presented their work. Everyone was very complimentary about their performances :-)
Afterwards we were welcomed at a reception at the Sir Duncan Rice Library (blipped), then wandered into town for drinks before heading back to our hotels.
In other news today is my 30th wedding anniversary. Mr hazelh and I exchanged cards and presents before I left Edinburgh by train for Aberdeen. I gave him a box of chocolates and tickets to see Henning Wehn. He bought me a copy of Ian Lawson's fabulous book of Harris Tweed photography From the land. (I blipped some of the photographs from an exhibition of the work from the book in Stornoway on 29th July 2016.)
==Update==
I see that my cousin TBay has also marked my wedding anniversary with her blip for today.
