Art For Art's Sake

This weekend it was the Six Streets Arts Trail in Derby.   A wonderful thing.

It takes place every other year; artists, crafts makers etc open their homes or hold pop-up galleries in residents' homes in the Six Streets area of Derby.  

Here, the trees have been decorated in knitted banners, creatures, bees, flowers by local groups, schools.  Crackers but fabulous.

We bought a bonkers picture which will fit in with our 70's house perfectly and two pieces from a talented ceramicist we see every day, twice a day, in the park walking her dog.
