Motherwort
Leonurus cardiaca is in the mint family has been used traditionally as a remedy for various heart related difficulties. It's also a great bee magnet which is why it's in my garden.
Son 2 returned from his DofE trek full of enthusiasm but smelling quite ripe after three showerless days. Before doing anything else he headed off to the bathroom. While he did the necessaries to make himself acceptable to those not equipped with breathing apparatus I tackled the rucksack unpacking. The rucksack was one we'd borrowed from the school's pool of equipment for children to use if they had nothing suitable at home. Having removed Son 2's used socks and muddy trousers for the washing machine I was slightly puzzled to find a couple of unfamiliar and squashed Alpen cereal bars in the nether reaches of one of the pockets. Then even more baffled when further searching produced a large unopened bar of plain chocolate from a certain European bargain supermarket which I've never actually shopped at and then a pair of tiny black gloves in yet another pocket (Son 2 has enormous mitts). Checking of the final pocket in the bowels of the rucksack provided a clue to the provenance of the unexpected items: a ziplock bag of toiletries labelled with a name which was definitely not Son 2's. When I asked him about the stowaway items he was perplexed and so we concluded that the previous custodian of the bag just hadn't quite bothered to unpack completely and Son 2 had just assumed that the bag was empty before he started adding his own kit. The added ballast clearly hadn't troubled him though and if he'd known about the cereal bars and chocolate it might have given him a partial reprieve on the second night of hiking when he and his team realised that he'd forgotten to pack the pasta for their evening meal.
