Shiny and new!

A very boring blip but with today's weather there haven't been many options. I did get out midday for Pilates but not much to take there or in the pouring rain enroute.

This case came yesterday purchased with my pre birthday money off voucher from M&S. I wasn't sure about these cases when I first saw them but having just shared one with a friend on our recent trip to Portugal. I found it was excellent for two of us and we only had to pay for one hold case. Thought it would be just the job for Chris and I for some trips. We probably won't use it till the end of the year now, though we have just booked a short break in Dovedale in August, but it's always good to look forward especially when the weather is like this!

Interestingly, going back to our recent trip to Portugal, the airline were very keen to have us put our cabin luggage in hold for no charge. We declined but they were more insistent on the way back saying we might have them taken off us at the gate due to shortage of room. So we let them take them, again at no charge. Seems like they really can't accommodate all the hand luggage which they have encouraged people to take by charging for hold luggage. We were on a brand new plane last autumn to Croatia and the noticeable difference was the increased size of the overhead lockers. These planes must fly with nearly empty holds!

Back to my new case. It won't stay looking shiny and new like this for long once it gets thrown onto those conveyor belts!
