there’s a new kid on the block

I have a new computer.  My old Mac is showing signs of age (much like me) and the time has come for a replacement.  (The computer, not me.  Although after today’s fun and games, Anniemay might not agree.)

I had one of the very first iMacs back in the 1990s and I knew nothing about how they worked - I didn’t even know anyone else who had one.  But they did look cool.

So I had to teach myself.  It took a long time.  

Now everything is much easier - online help, genius bars, instore workshops - and built in software that knows how to move the contents of an old computer to a new one.

The new screen is amazing - the extra shows a photo I took in Monument Valley in 2012 - I’m using it as a background.
