One Down, One To Go

I get a similar 'bath' when I forget to check the wind direction before I turn on the hose.  Most days it feels pretty good!

As of Wednesday, we will have had 14 consecutive days of temperatures of 105°/41° or higher.  That brings us to about 4th on the all-time list.  We did break a record, though, for having three consecutive days of 115°/46° or higher. 

Apparently, that monsoon rain I posted a couple of days ago was very localized.  I got 0.10".  Mom, a mile from me, received 0.03".  No one else in town seemed to get any.  There isn't  a chance of more rain until Independence Day and even then it's only a 20% chance.

Ahhh...summertime and the living is ain't easy...
