The best kept secret about manhood is... manflu. 
You had no idea as a child that 39.6 fever could be quite totally as debilitating when a teenager. In your toddler years, a high fever was pretty much modus operandi. 
I can hear your soft groans as I type, your total sense of helplessness, your claims that no suffering in the world could possibly be worse than what you are going through right now.
