Hawthorn Shieldbug

I came across this fine insect on the house wall. If I have identified it correctly, it's a Hawthorn Shieldbug (Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale).

There was a fine sunset too, after a gray cloudy day. My extra photo looks remarkably like sclaff18's. I wonder how far we're seeing.
