All is Bright

It turned out to be a lovely day today.

I had a long awaited lie-in until 9:30am. I would have slept longer but I had plans this afternoon.

I chilled in my PJ's for a little bit, and then got ready. 

I headed into London to meet a guy for a theatre date. He chose the play and booked the tickets to a comedy play about a bank robbery.

At first I didn't like it- it was a bit slapstick, but the second half was better. I was happier when we did a long walk back to the station in the sunshine. The temperature has dropped back to a much more reasonable 21, and it was still lovely but without the oppressive heat. 

It was a really nice walk back. I came home happily. I'd planned to go to the gym as I haven't been for weeks, and even had my gym stuff in the car. But I decided I'd rather go home, relax and have dinner and a rest before the week starts again.

I called a friend of mine, and it was nice to talk.
