MID WINTER:

This is what I don't like about winter, the greyness & the gloom. A watery sun filtered through now & then, but on the whole it is a miserable day. On one of the brief moments when it was out, I grabbed the opportunity to take this Blip, standing at the back of the iceberg roses (with not a bud in sight), looking up the beautiful Matukituki Valley. I have to say, after all the excitement of the week, it's good not to have those early starts, & to have a semblance of normality in our life's.
